December 24-25, 2025
Thammasat Business School (TBS) hosted a short academic and cultural program for students from HUTECH University of Technology, Vietnam.
The program featured academic sessions on management, international business, and corporate social responsibility, along with interactive activities fostering student exchange. Participants also enjoyed a cultural visit to Wat Arun and traditional Thai experiences.
The two-day program provided valuable academic insights, cultural exposure, and meaningful international engagement.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Noptanit Chotisarn, Associate Dean for Global Engagement and Digitalization, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Kevalin Setthakorn, Assistant Dean for Global Engagement, met with representatives from the following universities to discuss potential academic collaboration:
1. Hangzhou City University (China)
Formerly known as Hangzhou City College, Hangzhou City University (HZCU) is a public, applied-sciences–focused university located in Hangzhou’s AI hub. Both institutions explored opportunities for collaboration in internship programs.
2. Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (Republic of Korea)
The discussion focused on the Korea–Thailand Academic and Industry Collaboration Program, as well as plans for a second academic roundtable and internship cooperation strategies.
3. Lingnan College, Sun Yat-sen University (China)
Both institutions explored potential collaboration on a dual degree program under the Digital Talents initiative.
The meetings concluded with a shared commitment to strengthening international collaboration, expanding academic and industry partnerships, and creating sustainable opportunities for student mobility, internships, and joint academic initiatives.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Surat Teerakapibal, Dean of Thammasat Business School, together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Noptanit Chotisarn, Associate Dean for Global Engagement and Digitalization, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Kevalin Setthakorn, Assistant Dean for Global Engagement, met with representatives from HSE University to discuss potential academic collaboration. The discussion focused on opportunities such as hosting short-term study programs for HSE students, offering online guest lectures, and fostering academic research collaboration.

On December 19, 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr. Kevalin Setthakorn, Assistant Dean for Global Engagement, met with Ms. Premila Kanapathy, a representative from the University of Leeds. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity for both institutions to exchange ideas and explore potential academic collaborations, including student exchange programs, dual degree initiatives, and internship opportunities.
This discussion marks an important step toward strengthening international partnerships. Thammasat Business School looks forward to fostering a fruitful and sustainable collaboration with the University of Leeds in the near future.

Prof. Dr. Nuchjarin Intalar, Assistant Dean for Partnerships and Alliances, delivered a warm welcome to Dr. Ly Thien Trang, Vice President, and Dr. Nguyen Luu Thanh Tan, Vice Dean for Research, Quality, Innovation, Alumni & International Affairs, along with students from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH), Vietnam.
The virtual pre-departure session was organized to ensure that HUTECH students and team are well prepared ahead of their upcoming study trip and short-term program at Thammasat Business School, scheduled to take place next week. The session provided essential academic and practical information to support a smooth, enriching, and meaningful learning experience.

Thammasat University (TU) welcomed executives from the National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (NPUST), Taiwan, on the occasion of discussing potential academic collaboration.
The delegation was welcomed by Associate Professor Dr. Dumrong Adunyarittigun, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs , Thammasat University, together with Assistant Professor Dr. Nopthanit Chotisan, Associate Dean for Internationalization and Digitalization and Assistant Professor Dr. Nuchjarin Intala, Assistant Dean for Partnerships and Alliances, Thammasat Business School.
The meeting aimed to explore avenues for academic cooperation between the two institutions, including student exchange programs, double degree programs, internships, and other collaborative initiatives that will enhance international learning opportunities for students and staff of both universities. The discussion took place at Thammasat University, Rangsit Campus.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chaturong Napathorn, Former Associate Dean for Research, Internationalization, and Accreditation, welcomed Prof. Brian Burfitt, along with students and staff from UNSW Business School, to Thammasat Business School. The program included a special lecture on Thailand’s Economy and Key Industries by Dr. Vasu Thirasak, providing insights into Thailand’s economic landscape and Thailand–Australia business relations, as well as cultural sessions on Thai language and traditional flower garland making. IBMP students also presented their student-led product, Waan JaiKhun, during the refreshment break.
The visit strengthened academic and cultural ties between Thammasat Business School and UNSW Business School and supported future collaboration.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chaturong Napathorn, Former Associate Dean for Research, Internationalization, and Accreditation, extended a warm welcome to Assoc. Prof. Junpe Higuchi from the Department of Industrial Relations, along with a group of students from Doshisha University, Kyoto, Japan.
The session focused on the evolution of Thailand’s HR and employment systems, including the development of the job-based system, employee retention and motivation, labor unions and industrial relations, as well as the evaluation and key challenges faced by Japanese companies operating in Thailand.
The visit provided a valuable platform for academic exchange and enhanced mutual understanding of Thailand’s labor landscape, supporting potential future collaboration and academic engagement between the two institutions.

Associate Professor Dr. Chaturong Napathorn, Associate Dean for Research, Internationalization, and Accreditation, held meetings with The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) and National Taipei University of Technology (TAIPEI TECH), respectively. The meetings aimed to strengthen international collaboration and academic engagement between institutions. Discussions focused on potential areas of cooperation, including exchange programs, joint seminars, and double degree partnerships.

Thammasat Business School (TBS) hosted a customized short program for the Toyota Wessels Institute for Manufacturing Studies (TWIMS), a graduate business school in South Africa.
Day one featured lectures on Thailand’s role in the global economy and the development of the automotive industry, delivered by TBS faculty, and concluded with closing remarks from the Associate Dean for Research, Internationalization, and Accreditation.
On day two, participants visited the CPF Nong Chok Ready-to-Eat Food Plant, gaining valuable insights into CPF’s operations and production processes.
The two-day program fostered knowledge exchange, cross-cultural learning, and strengthened academic ties between TBS and TWIMS.

Thammasat Business School had the honor of welcoming students from the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS), University of Pretoria, South Africa - a world-class Triple Crown accredited business school — for an exciting half-day program!
The session began with warm opening remarks from Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chaturong Napathorn, Associate Dean for Research, Internationalization, and Accreditation, followed by an inspiring session on “Managing Stakeholders During Global Disruption & Sustainability for Resilience” delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Wanwipa Siriwatwechakul.
The event was filled with interactive discussions and cross-cultural exchange. GIBS and TBS students enjoyed valuable opportunities to network, share perspectives, and foster global friendships.

Thammasat Business School (TBS) successfully concluded the second day of the 2nd TBS Accounting Research Workshop: Accounting and Capital Markets on 26 September 2025 at Dusit Thani Krabi Resort, Thailand.
Distinguished international scholars shared cutting-edge insights on accounting and capital markets, generating engaging discussions and strengthening cross-border research collaboration.
To express appreciation, the Associate Dean for Strategy and Finance presented each speaker with traditional Thai Benjarong porcelain. The workshop concluded with a memorable dinner overlooking the sea, reflecting TBS’s commitment to global research excellence and academic networking.
